Abstract
The distribution of total Hg (Hg-T) and reactive (Hg-R) in Narraganset t Bay, fresh water tributaries and point source discharges was determi ned during a synoptic survey,'carried out in. April, 1986. A Hg budget which includes fluvial inputs and atmospheric Hg deposition wa constr ucted and the estuarine behavior of Hg assessed.
