Abstract
WIN 70197 is a novel liver-targeted MRI contrast agent. This report de scribes the efficient synthesis of the chelator along with preliminary NMRD and toxicity data of the gadolinium complex. X-ray diffraction d ata was used to confirm the predicted chelate structure.
