Abstract
We report a patient with acute large granular lymphocyte (LGL) leukemi a, presenting as acute myelofibrosis (AMF), The leukemic cells were im mature T-cells (CD5+, CD7+, CD16-, CD56-, CD57-, and CD41-), had monos omy 7, and secreted large amounts of Transforming Growth Factor-beta 1 (TGF-beta 1), The serum levels of interleukins (IL)-2, -2R, -6 and -8 were elevated, while the IL-1 beta, IL-4, and tumor necrosis factor-al pha were normal, (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
