Abstract
Liposomal amphotericin B (AmBisome) was compared with amphotericin B d eoxycholate for the treatment of disseminated murine histoplasmosis. L iposomal amphotericin B was well tolerated and, milligram for milligra m, was as potent as amphotericin B deoxycholate.
