Amnioinfusion has become accepted in the management of intrapartum cor d compression, meconium-stained fluid, and oligohydramnios. Limited ex perience exists regarding amnioinfusion in patients undergoing a trial of labor after cesarean section and its potential complications, We r eport a case of trial of labor in which uterine rupture occurred follo wing intrapartum amnioinfusion, This case demonstrates the need for ca reful attention to amnioinfusion volumes and administration in patient s with a previous cesarean section.
