Ii. Tikhonov et al., EXPRESSION OF HUMAN TYPE-I INTERLEUKIN-8 RECEPTOR CDNA IN FIBROBLASTSBALB 3T3 AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THE EXPRESSION PRODUCTS, Molecular biology, 30(5), 1996, pp. 600-604
We expressed the cDNA of human interleukin-8 (IL-8) receptor type I in
murine BALE 3T3 fibroblasts using a retrovirus vector. The properties
of the receptor thus produced and the IL-8-binding proteins of human
neutrophils were compared. Two IL-8-binding proteins of 70 and 45-47 k
Da were revealed in fibroblasts constitutively expressing the membrane
receptor. Three major IL-8-binding proteins of 70, 58, and 45-47 kDa
were revealed in human neutrophils. Since the molecular mass of type I
I IL-8 receptor is 45 kDa, the origin of the 58-kDa protein is unclear
