Abstract
PURPOSE/METHODS: A 16-year-old boy had orbital cellulitis, subperioste al abscess, sinusitis, and septicemia. Arcanobacterium haemolyticum wa s identified as the causative organism. RESULTS/CONCLUSIONS: This orga nism is a cause of orbital cellulitis and may require aggressive thera py in order to achieve a therapeutic response.
