Abstract
This study developed an integrated simulation model for analyzing tran sport policy measures' effectiveness in reducing energy consumption an d air pollution, and actually applied the model for several policy mea sures to the case of Seoul. The impact of three major policy measures, which include strengthening emission standards, improving traffic flo w and fuel pricing, were evaluated. For each policy measure, the impac t on fuel consumption and subsequent air pollutant concentration level were estimated. Due to the limitations in data, only two major air po llutants, CO and NOx were considered in this analysis.
