Abstract
In this paper we present a new low-cost disposable reference electrode . The construction of the electrode is based on a microfibre matrix, e .g., filter paper, which is filled with a redox electrolyte solution. The disposable reference electrode shows a reproducible and stable pot ential, which is little affected by the composition of the measuring s olution.
