Abstract
Transesophageal echocardiography identified malposition of an extracor poreal membrane oxygenation venous cannula across the interatrial sept um into the left atrium and the presence of a clot within the cannula' s lumen. Transesophageal echocardiography also guided the withdrawal o f the cannula into the inferior vena cava.
