Abstract
Four new toxic glycosidic macrolides, polycavernoside A2, A3, B, and B 2 which were involved in fatal human intoxication were isolated from t he red alga Polycavernosa tsudai and structurally determined using 2D NMR techniques and fragmentation patterns of FABMS.
