Abstract
Artificially X-ray induced thermoluminescence (TL) of colloidal inters tellar diamond of Murchison C2M, Krymka LL3.0 and Efremovka C3V chondr ites as well as of diamonds from Novy Urey ureilite and Abee EH4 ensta tite chondrite was measured In order to compare TL parameters of meteo ritic and terrestrial diamonds the similar measurements were carried o ut for diamonds synthesised by the detonation and static methods, in C VD-process and those of terrestrial impact crater. The conclusions: a) TL parameters of interstellar diamonds are found to depend on the pet rological type of the corresponding chondrites; b) interstellar diamon ds could be formed as a result of extremely nonequilibrium process fro m the chemically bound carbon and/or from the amorphous carbon (e.g, s oot) in gaseous phase under action of impact waves; c) Novy Urey ureil ite and Abee enstatite chondrite diamond could be related to the impac t formed species. Novy Urey diamond is considered to be originated fro m the amorphous carbon. whereas the Abee diamond is a result of graphi te transformation.
