Abstract
A heat treatment schedule to obtain optimum mechanical properties in C M247LC cast superalloy integral rotor has been developed. gamma' parti cles in the size range of 0.7-0.85 mu m give the desired combination o f mechanical properties for jet fuel starter application. This differs significantly from the optimum gamma' size for directionally solidifi ed components.
