Abstract
LHS 2067 and LHS 2068 are listed in the Luyten Half Second Catalog as
a common-proper-motion pair. CCD astrometry of these objects, as ident
ified in the LHS Atlas, indicated negligible proper motion. The two st
ars are misidentified in the Atlas, and we show that two other stars i
n the same field are the actual common-proper-motion pair. The star mi
stakenly labeled LHS 2067 is IRAS 08517-2436, an uncataloged variable
star.
