Abstract
Commercial prototype monitoring/baiting stations were used to detect, bait, and eliminate field populations of the Formosan subterranean ter mite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki, and the eastern subterranean ter mite, Reticulitermes flavipes (Kollar), near structures. Because of th e durable plastic housing, the station can be used by pest control pro fessionals for ongoing monitoring and baiting programs to provide cont inuous protection of structures from subterranean termites.
