Abstract
The level crossing of the 1s3d (1) Sigma(0)(+) and (3) Sigma(0)(-) Sta rk levels of He I was detected by coupling the crossing substates with a weak magnetic field and applying anticrossing techniques. Its elect ric field position F = 79.14 +/- 0.02 kV/cm and the coupling parameter beta = 1.6 +/- 0.1 GHz/T were measured.
