We present results of calculations for e(-) + H-2(+) scattering in the
energy regime below the first excited state for resonance symmetries
Sigma and Pi. We employ three distinct and independent methods: close-
coupling linear algebraic, effective optical potential linear algebrai
c, and R matrix. We report extended calculations on the (1) Pi(g), res
onance, important to dissociative recombination. We show binding of th
e (1) Sigma(g), state resonance between 2.6 and 2.7 bohrs. Our (1) Sig
ma(u) state results agree very well with previous calculations and res
ide a factor of 2 below a recent experiment.
