Abstract
The statistical properties of a charged oscillator in the presence of a uniform magnetic field are investigated for the case of a time-depen dent electromagnetic field. Quite general results are obtained when th e time dependence of the external field is not specified. As an exampl e, an oscillating external field is considered. It is found that, depe nding upon the parameters, this system can show many nonclassical feat ures, such as sub-Poissonian statistics and squeezing.
