Abstract
The method of hyperspherical ''surface'' functions has been applied to the calculation of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of muonic molecular ions (3,4)Hed mu. Binding energies and nonradiative decay rates for t he states of the total angular momentum L = 0, 1, 2 have been obtained .
