An experimental study of the antiphase domains originating from both n
uclear and magnetic ordering processes in the partially ordered compou
nd Ni78Mn22 was carried out by means of polarized neutron diffraction.
The analysis of the data collected at several temperatures in the ran
ge 40-573 K allowed us to deduce the size distribution of magnetic and
nuclear antiphase boundaries and to further investigate the role of s
econd-nearest-neighbor interactions on the magnetic properties of this
system.
