In single-domain particles magnetic moments behave as overdamped rotar
y oscillators with a potential proportional to cos(2) theta. Thus they
make a well-understandable object for studies of stochastic resonance
(SR). With a numerically exact approach, we analyze magnetic SR in su
perparamagnetic assemblies including a situation when an external fiel
d creates a controllable inequality of the potential-well depths.
