Abstract
A technique for the sensitive and convenient determination of phosphat idylcholine hydroperoxides was developed that uses coulometric electro chemical detection in a high-performance liquid chromatographic analys is, The detection limit for phosphatidylcholine hydroperoxides by this method was 20 pmol at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3, The glutathione-d ependent phospholipid hydroperoxide-reducing activity of fresh human p lasma was ascertained by this method.
