Abstract
In the conceptual framework of Coherent Quantum Electrodynamics we sho w that the molecules of liquid phase are described by individual quant um states that differ from those in which the molecules find themselve s while in the gas phase. We suggest that tetrahedral coordination eme rges from such individual configurations.
