Abstract
An assessment of X-ray protective gloves is reported which demonstrate s that a significant degree of protection from X-ray exposure can be o ffered by these gloves. The need for such protection, together with th e method of assessment is discussed. It is recommended that X-ray prot ective gloves are considered when undertaking image intensifier work.
