Abstract
Two kinds of Figaro sensors, TGS 813 and TGS 842, have been tested in the Gaz de France laboratories for the detection of methane in domesti c premises. The results obtained show that the sensitivities to methan e and the selectivities of the TGS 842 sensors are better than those o f the TGS 813 sensors. Nevertheless, a long-term stability test, carri ed out for one year, shows that the TGS 842 sensors are more scattered and less stable than the TGS 813 sensors.
