P. Massok et al., COMPARISON BETWEEN 2 FIGARO SENSORS (TGS-813 AND TGS-842) FOR THE DETECTION OF METHANE, IN TERMS OF SELECTIVITY AND LONG-TERM STABILITY, Sensors and actuators. B, Chemical, 25(1-3), 1995, pp. 525-528
Two kinds of Figaro sensors, TGS 813 and TGS 842, have been tested in
the Gaz de France laboratories for the detection of methane in domesti
c premises. The results obtained show that the sensitivities to methan
e and the selectivities of the TGS 842 sensors are better than those o
f the TGS 813 sensors. Nevertheless, a long-term stability test, carri
ed out for one year, shows that the TGS 842 sensors are more scattered
and less stable than the TGS 813 sensors.
