Abstract
This article reports on a three-year study to develop and evaluate a c omprehensive interdisciplinary self-study curriculum on vision for use in long-term care facilities. Eighty-two staff members in 34 Florida facilities participated in the field test of the curricular materials, which were designed to teach them to identify visually impaired resid ents in a timely manner.
