Abstract
A new technique has been proposed regarding how to terminate the mesh for finite-difference and finite-element techniques in an exact fashio n. Earlier works have dealt with the application of this technique to electrostatic and electromagnetic (TM case) only. This article extends the method to deal with the electromagnetic case but for the TE polar ization. Numerical results are presented to compare the accuracy of th is technique with the conventional methods-of-moments approach. (C) 19 95 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
