Realization and characterization of LiNbO3 microwave integrated optics
coherence modulators is presented here. Optical path differences long
er than 1 mm, low control voltages, and microwave operating frequencie
s have been achieved. The devices were tested in a coherence-modulated
experimental setup to determine their high-speed transmission perform
ances. These devices can be used in high-capacity coherence multiplexe
