OPTIMAL DIMENSION REDUCTION FOR ARRAY PROCESSING-GENERALIZED

This correspondence extends previously reported work on the problem, o r rather possibility, of achieving optimality of beamspace (BS) array processing parameter estimators, where use is made of dimensionally re duced data vectors. The optimality here is with respect to the best po ssible element space (ESP) parameter estimation accuracy, i.e., the Cr amer-Rao bound, and is valid for multiple parameters per emitter.
