M. Uematsu et al., COEXISTENT MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME AND NON-HODGKIN-LYMPHOMA - REPORTOF A CASE AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE, International journal of hematology, 62(1), 1995, pp. 45-51
The patients with a hematopoietic neoplasm can develop myelodysplastic
syndrome following chemotherapy. We report herein a case of non-Hodgk
in B-cell lymphoma and refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts. Abs
ence of the preceding chemotherapy establishes the true coincidence of
the two disorders. We review 25 similar cases reported in the last 11
years and discuss the possible etiology of coexistence.
