Abstract
In this review, Adam Belley and Kris Chadee discuss eicosanoid product ion by various parasites and propose roles they may play in pathogenes is and imnmunomodulation. The commonality between parasites is prostag landin production and, therefore, special attention is given to the cy clooxygenase pathway, highlighting the enzymes and functions of prosta glandins.
