Abstract
The new elemandiolide zinnacitrin has been isolated from the aerial pa rts of Zinnia citrea, together with known compounds. Structure of zinn acitrin was determined as 8 alpha-angeloyloxy-6 beta-epoxyangeloyloxy- 2-hydroxyelema- 11(13),4(15)-dien-1(3),9 beta(12)-diolide by spectrosc opic means.
