Gl. Pashkov et al., OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR LEACHING ZINC FROM A MIXTURE OF ZINC AND COPPER(II) OXIDES WITH THE USE OF KU-2-8 CATION-EXCHANGER, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 67(9), 1994, pp. 1261-1263
By method of mathematical design and processing of the experimental re
sults, regression equations have been obtained that describe the degre
e and direction of the effect on the selectivity of zinc recovery prod
uced by the conditions of sorption dissolution, like hydrodynamics of
the process, degree of regeneration anal moisture content of the sorbe
nt, and the factors determining the pH of the liquid phase. From the m
odel obtained the optimum conditions of selective sorption leaching of
zinc(II) have been determined. The effect of microadditives of redox
reagents on the rate of acidic and sorption dissolution. of copper(II)
oxide has been investigated at pH = 2-6.
