THERMODYNAMIC STUDY OF ALKYLGALLIUM DERIVATIVES AND TRIMETHYLGALLIUM TRIETHYLGALLIUM MIXTURES

Equilibrium vapor pressures of Ga(CH3)(3), Ga(C2H5)(3), Ga(n-C3H7)(3), and Ga(n-C4H9)3 and also of Ga(CH3)(3)-Ga(C2H5)3 mixtures have been m easured as functions of temperature by a static method with a membrane null manometer. The thermodynamic parameters of vaporization and the composition of the vapor phase have been calculated. Relationships of variation of physicochemical properties in the Ga(Alk)(3) homologous s eries and mechanisms of intermolecular interactions have been consider ed on the basis of experimental results.
