Abstract
We present a simple method that allows scoring of FISH-painted chromos omes exclusively in the first division human lymphocytes. It consists of a combination of FISH with chromosome-specific libraries and a diff erential sister chromatid staining after BrdU treatment of lymphocyte cultures. The method allows a precise quantification of induced chromo some damage for human biodosimetry.
