Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to realize the generalized canonical form and the Birkhoffs form for the Chaplygin's non holonomic system. This paper proves that the Chaplygin's non holonomic systems can be repres ented by the canonical form and the generalized canonical form under s ome conditions, and they can always be represented by the Birkhoffs fo rm. Two examples are given to illustrate the application of the result s.
