Abstract
The authors present a technique for efficient recovery from transmissi on errors to be used when transmitting ATM-like data packets in a wire less channel affected by bursty errors (jamming). Issues related to pa cket format error protection code structure and retransmission protoco l are discussed and simulation results are shown that prove the effect iveness of the proposed approach.
