Abstract
A novel compact monolithic wavelength reader and photodetector is demo nstrated for the first time. The device consists of two back-to-back d etectors with a wavelength dependent distributed Bragg reflector in be tween, and has a spectral range of 40 nm and a resolution of 1 nm.
