Abstract
The authors demonstrate wavelength conversion from a 20nm band near 1. 5 - 1.3 mu m at 5 Gbit/s using a novel nonlinear optical loop mirror t hat compensates for pulse walk-off. The bit error rate performance of the device at 2.5 Gbit/s is also reported.
