Abstract
A cDNA clone related to the vernalization in winter wheat (verc203) wa s harvested from the enriched cold-induced cDNA library of 10(4) pfu w ith differential screening. The insert of verc203 in lambda gt10 vecto r was subcloned into the sites between BamH I and Hind III in pUC19 pl asmid after being amplified with PCR. the analysis of the Northern blo tting with a probe of verc203 indicated that the verc203 has a negativ e signal for the control and the devernalized mRNA and a positive sign al for the vernalized winter wheat and non-vernalized spring wheat at about 2.6 kb.
