Abstract
Some dialkyl tituted-alpha-amino-alpha-furylmethanephosphonates were s ynthesized via the addition of dialkyl phosphites to corresponding imi nes in mild conditions in a short time. When an imine is chirally N-su bstituted the reaction is stereoselective. Stereochemical aspects of t he reaction in the light of Cram rules is discussed in this paper.
