An interface integral equation is presented for the electrostatic prob
lem in a composite where the components have anisotropic conductivity
tensors. The electric potential is represented by a single-layer charg
e density on the component interfaces. In a simple numerical example i
nvolving anisotropic discs, the charge density is expanded in a Fourie
r series. The integral equation is then solved to high accuracy with a
modest computational effort.
