p+H-3 and p+He-3 elastic collisions are described in terms of a superm
ultiplet model with [f]-dependent potentials. The phase shifts delta(L
,t,S)([f])(E) with [f] = [4], t = S = 0, L = even are reconstructed fr
om the observable nuclear phase shifts delta(L,S)(E) Of the above coll
isions. So, the initial-state interaction V-L,0,0([4])(R) of the He-4
+ gamma --> H-3 + p(He-3 + n) reaction can be found unambiguously, whi
le the final-state interaction V-L,1,10([31])(R) is defined by the obs
ervables delta(L,0)(E) of p + He-3 scattering. The data on the proton
momentum distribution in He-4 and on the charge-exchange reaction H-3
+ p --> He-3 + n confirm the model. In calculating the above photonucl
ear reactions, in addition to the initial-state and final-state antisy
mmetrizations, preserving the corresponding symmetry [f], the nucleon-
nucleon correlations in the H-3 (He-3) subsystem were also taken into
account. The results are in good agreement both with recent experiment
al data and theoretical investigations by Sofianos, Fiedeldey, and San
dhas, who followed a rather different approach.
