Abstract
Potassium lanthanum nitrate dihydrate (KLN) is a new nonlinear optical crystal. An Nd-doped potassium lanthanum nitrate (KLNN), was grown. A s the first on this crystal and its characters of growth, thermal, spe ctral, and nonlinear optic properties is reported. KLNN crystal will b e a useful material in frequency conversion of generating blue-green l aser.
