Abstract
We report the presence of antisulfatide antibodies in a patient with t ype I Gaucher's disease and peripheral neuropathy. The association of Gaucher's disease with hypergammaglobulinemia and monoclonal gammopath y is well documented whereas its association with peripheral neuropath y is rare. We discuss whether antibodies directed against the sulfatid e antigen are related to Gaucher's disease or are a coincidental assoc iation.
