Kf. Carter et Pa. Kulbok, EVALUATION OF THE INTERACTION-MODEL OF CLIENT HEALTH BEHAVIOR THROUGHTHE 1ST DECADE OF RESEARCH, Advances in nursing science, 18(1), 1995, pp. 62-73
The Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior was proposed in 1982 a
s a prescriptive nursing framework. The model is grounded in multidisc
iplinary perspectives, and early research suggests that the model may
be useful for research and practice. The elements of client singularit
y and health outcomes have been the primary focus of research during t
he past decade. Statistical analyses have been exploratory. This artic
le concludes that the model is ready for hypothesis testing with more
rigorous statistical procedures, more diversity in samples, and more c
omprehensive use of the model, including the elements of client-profes
sional interaction.
