L. Huo et al., POLAR DISTRIBUTION OF FINAL-STATE PARTICLES IN HIGH-ENERGY HEAVY-ION COLLISIONS, High energy physics & nuclear physics, 20(2), 1996, pp. 141-147
The anisotropy of azimuthal distributions for final state particles in
center-of-mass systems where the z axis is rotated to various polar a
ngle in the reaction plane is studied, and a method to determine the f
low angle is proposed. Studying the polar angle distributions for coll
isions of 1.2AGeV Ar+KCl, 1.2AGeV Ne+NaF, and 2.1AGeV Ne+NaF at the Be
valac streamer chamber in the coordinate systems with the z axis rotat
ed to the how angle, we can estimate the fraction of the anisotropic e
mission particles to all the final state particles and the degree of c
oncentration around the flow direction quantitatively.
