Abstract
We introduce and solve an anisotropic model of self-organized critical ity. The exponents are tau = 4/3, D = 3/2, nu = 2, d(f) = 1/2, z = 1, and theta = 1. This model is related to one-dimensional anisotropic in terface depinning in a quenched random medium. Another anisotropic int erface model, different from the first one in the realization of quenc hed disorder, is shown numerically to belong to the same universality class as the first one.
