Abstract
The flow properties of Rauwolfia vomitoria root granulations were stud ied using named binders and lubricants. The properties of the granules evaluated were : particle size distribution, flow rate, angle of repo se and density. Wet granulation enhanced the flow properties of R. vom itoria root powder. However, flow behaviour was found to be dependent on the type and concentration of the binder or lubricant employed. The granules had good flow properties.
