Abstract
A synthetic gene for human angiogenin was cloned into pRTang under con trol of the Proteus mirabilis recA promoter. After induction with mito mycin C, Escherichia coil cells transformed with pRTang produced an ad ditional 14.2-kDa protein. According to electrophoretic and immunochem ical analyses, this protein was identical to human angiogenin.
